The Hurting

The tracks of my tears
lie deep within
deep under my skin
for a girl who i care for
and wish i could be with
but sadly she's hurt
and even sadder for me
for she told me the person,
who caused her the pain
... I was the acusee
if i could take away the pain
and bring it upon myself
I'd give her my own heart
and hurt until i wept
I'd cry myself to sleep at night
thinking of if it helped
and if it didn't, I'd bury myself in misery
for the pain that i have caused
i just wanted to love you
to love you with my all
now it's all over and i am to blame
i just wish that it wouldn't of happened like this
but now it's probably too late
your mind will never change
look into my eyes
can't you see that i still care
and if you ever need me
i will always be right there
life isn't easy
and it damn sure isn't fair
I'm sorry that I've hurt you
and the more you hurt
the more i hurt
cause you hurting i can't bare
I'm asking you please
just give me another chance
I'll bet my life on it
I'll never hurt you again
